Municipal Bonds
Municipal bonds are highly regulated by state law, the Internal Revenue Code and securities regulations. Advising political subdivisions requires an understanding of state statutes, open meetings and records laws and, for school districts, federal laws regulating education, such as the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act.
